Chain Event Subscriptions
Polkadot Live allows users to subscribe to real-time events occurring on-chain across multiple networks and accounts. These chain event subscriptions provide granular, immediate notifications whenever a specific event happens, whether globally across the entire network, scoped to a particular account, or linked to an individual OpenGov referendum.
This reference lists all currently supported chain events, organized by category.
Balances
Deposit
Some amount was deposited (e.g. for transaction fees).
Frozen
Some balance was frozen.
Locked
Some balance was locked.
Reserved
Some balance was reserved (moved from free to reserved).
Restored
Some amount was restored into an account.
Slashed
Some amount was removed from the account (e.g. for misbehavior).
Suspended
Some amount was suspended from an account (it can be restored later).
Thawed
Some balance was thawed.
Transfer
A transfer on the network succeeded.
Unlocked
Some balance was unlocked.
Unreserved
Some balance was unreserved (moved from reserved to free).
Withdraw
Some amount was withdrawn from the account (e.g. for transaction fees).
Conviction Voting
Delegated
An account has delegated their vote to another account.
Undelegated
An account has canceled a previous delegation operation.
Vote Removed
A vote has been removed.
Vote Unlocked
The lockup period of a conviction vote expired, and the funds have been unlocked.
Voted
An account has voted.
Nomination Pools
Bonded
A member has became bonded in a pool.
Created
A pool has been created.
Destroyed
A pool has been destroyed.
Member Removed
A member has been removed from a pool.
The removal can be voluntary (withdrawn all unbonded funds) or involuntary (kicked). Any funds that are still delegated are released.
Metadata Updated
A pool's metadata was updated.
Paid Out
A payout has been made to a member.
Pool Commission Change Rate Updated
A pool's commission change rate has been changed.
Pool Commission Claim Permission Updated
Pool commission claim permission has been updated.
Pool Commission Claimed
Pool commission has been claimed.
Pool Commission Updated
A pool's commission setting has been changed.
Pool Slashed
The active balance of a pool has been slashed.
State Changed
The state of a pool has changed.
Unbonded
A member has unbonded from their pool.
Unbonding Pool Slashed
The unbonded pool has been slashed to a new balance.
Withdrawn
A member has withdrawn from their pool.
Referenda
Decision Deposit Placed
The decision deposit has been placed for a referendum.
Decision Deposit Refunded
The decision deposit has been refunded for a referendum.
Decision Phase Started
A referendum has moved into the deciding phase.
Deposit Slashed
A referendum's deposit has been slashed.
Referendum Approved
A referendum has been approved and its proposal has been scheduled.
Referendum Canceled
A referendum has been canceled.
Referendum Confirmation Aborted
A referendum's confirmation phase has been aborted.
Referendum Confirmation Started
A referendum has moved into the confirmation phase.
Referendum Confirmed
A referendum has ended its confirmation phase and is ready for approval.
Referendum Killed
A referendum has been killed.
Referendum Rejected
A proposal has been rejected by referendum.
Referendum Submitted
A referendum has been submitted.
Referendum Timed Out
A referendum has been timed out without being decided.
Submission Deposit Refunded
A referendum's submission deposit has been refunded.
Staking
Account Chilled
An account has stopped participating as either a validator or nominator.
Bonded
An account has bonded an amount.
Era Paid
The era payout has been set.
Nominator Kicked
A nominator has been kicked from a validator.
Nominator Rewarded
The nominator has been rewarded by this amount.
Staker Slashed
A staker (validator or nominator) has been slashed by the given amount.
Unbonded
An account has unbonded an amount.
Validator Preferences Set
A validator has set their preferences.
